My story

When I was a little girl I wanted to work in a candy store. Why? Because it was the only thing I could think of and lets face it…. I wanted the candy!  Every time someone asked me (most of the time a grown up with this annoying expression on his or her face) “what do you want to be when you grow up?” I would either say “I don´t know” or “work in a candy store”. But the thing is, I didn´t really want to work in a candy store. It´s just something a made up for myself because I didn´t have the faintest idea what I wanted to do when I grew up.  I still don´t and I am almost 21.  Many of you might think “you are still young, you will figure it out”. I thought that too and I have been waiting for that light bulb moment. But it hasn´t arrived yet. What I would like to do is hanging around, watching TV, reading my books (I have way to much!) and traveling. I would also love to study art history but the university course in my country is not that interesting. Am I lazy? I used to think that. “Why can´t I be more like my friends? They know what they want to do for a living. They are not lazy”.

Then one day a year ago it finally clicked. I am NOT lazy. I just don´t want to live my live, my only live (as far as I know), doing something I don´t want to do just because it is what everyone else is doing! Why do I have to have a 9-5 job? What do people see in it? Why is working in an office so popular?

Yay! I´m not lazy and I am not going to work the way society wants me to!  But how can I live without some kind of income?  Google to the rescue! I browsed a lot of weird scams until I found WealthyAffiliate.com. I´m not a member at the moment but I was for a month just to see what it was all about. It was amazing but, my god, there was so much information my head ached! But it was a great place to get the feeling of affiliate marketing. I googled some more and found an amazing website called The Art of Non-Conformity (http://chrisguillebeau.com/3×5/). Chris is amazing (pretty cute to 😉 ). I will be buying his “Unconventional Guide to Working for Yourself” as soon as I get my own laptop sometime this month. I think it is a good place to start

OK, that´s it for my first post. Maybe someone is reading this!
